printing problems

Hi. I have a HP LJ 1020 printer installed localy on a XP SP3 computer. The printer is shared. I can print from the local computer but if i want to print from other computers – also XP SP3 – the job hangs and the printer does nothing. But, if i restart the print spooler service on a computer the printer is attached to, the printer starts to print and prints the job. The printer driver is up=to-date beeing downloaded from the HP site.
What’s going on?
I have to say that i had a downadup virus in the whole network. Before that, i had XP SP2 on these computers and everything was working fine. After the poisining with that worm/virus, i made format on every hard disk and i’ve made a fresh instalation with XP SP3.
