I’ve searched TR’s forum for an answer to this question, but none quite match up with my problem. If I missed it somehow, please direct me to the page. I have a Linksys WRT54G router running the HyperWRT 2.1b1 +tofu13c firmware. I also have Time Warner’s road Runner as my ISP. Here’s the problem. I successfully set up the modem to work with my router and now have internet access. The thing is, I can no longer access the web interface for my router. If I connect the modem directly to my computer, I have no problem accessing the router’s web interface, but the minute I connect the modem to the router, I lose access to the web interface. Now, I did notice something odd. When the modem is connected directly to the computer, the ipconfig screen shows the Default Gateway address to be 192.168.1.1, which I know is the default IP address for Linksys routers. However, when I connect the modem to the router, the Default Gateway suddenly changes to 67.11.16.1. Typing this second IP address into my browser doesn’t bring up the router’s web interface. Any ideas on how to regain access to my router while my modem is connected? Thanks for the help.
