Problem emailing via exchange to a domain ending in the same name

We have SBS 2003 server running exchange 2003. We have another site with domain name ending with our domain name eg our domain.co.uk other site branch.domain.co.uk. We can send emails to all domains except our branch. when I check the queues on exchange no messages to branch show in queues.
