Problem in connecting wifi on backtrack 5 r3

Hi!
i am using backtrack 5 R3. i can connect to WPA encrypted wifi but can’t connect to 802.1xEAP encrypted wifi. I dont see an option for such encryption on wicd either.
how to connect to 802.1xEAP secured wifi on backtrack ??
