Problem Linksys RV042

I want to configure linksys rv042
with static ip assigned by ISP.
I have netgear DSL modem.I want to use this modem as ppoe and router as static ip.Please tell me about how to configure this.

Another way it is ok.If i use modem as bridge and linksys router as ppoe connection.

Please help me regarding this issue
