Problem with DVD Rom Auto Detect setting

I have a new system running XP Pro, Asus P4C800-E Deluxe mobo, Sony DVD Rom, Plextor CDRW & DVDRW the problem I have found is that none of my drives will auto-run a CD even though I think I have all the harware settings set right and BIOS settings right according to user manual. All 3 drives seem to work fine but I have to go to my computer to run any CD program from disk. Audio disks seem to recognize with music App. but still no auto-run.– Thanks for any info
