problem with Fujitsu C2010 installing

This notebook is the notebook from hell! It came with XP Pro, and was running somwhat slow but livable, until I installed ms critical updates, after which it takes 10 minutes just to boot before logging on, and than at random runs at a snails pace. I tried everything, and now have given up.

So I Fdisk the drive, re-format, and away I go with Win2000 pro, dos portion runs no problem, then when it has to re-boot to continue the install, it re boots, saying no OS was found!! So now I am really screwed!!!

OK, so I try and install Win2000 server, what the hell, who knows, and guess what it works, however, Fujitsu drivers do not work on the server version, only the Pro version, screwed again!!!

Any suggestions?

After getting the run around at Fujitsu, I will never buy another notebook from them again, and I buy alot!
