Problem with installing Ubuntu & Debian packages on WinXP

I have installed Virtual PC 2007 on my windowsXP Machine.. Bt how do i proceed and run the packages
debian-40r0-i386-boinc.zip ubuntu-server-7.04-i386-boinc.zip
in VMWare player??

How should i load the images??
