Problem with MS Project Calender

Hi I have a Problem with the MS Project Calender.
Sometimes when I put in a whole week Time frame the program goes from Monday to Friday and sometimes it does Monday to Monday wich is wrong..
Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong when the program calculates a week from Monday to Monday
