Problem with printing from word.

WHen I try to print from word it locks up.

it says
“word is preparing to background print the document” if i turn this option off it works…

but… i can no longer use the envelope feature.
dont ask me why i have no idea.

any input would be much appreciate. ive already tried reinstalling.
and upgrading from word97 to 2000

the really strange thing is it works for a little while and then quits..
