hi to all,
i developed one windows application and i installed in my machine and
which my pc had below details
o/s – windows 2000 prof (service pack4)
database – sql server 2000 enterprise edition
and my connection string is



and i disabled named pipes also
whenever i connect database through my application i am getting below error

error:an error has occurred while establishing a connection to the
server.when connecting to sql server 2005,this failure may be caused
by the fact that under the default settings sql server does not allow
remote connections.(provider:named pipes provider,error:40-could not
open a connection to sql server)
