Problem with Tech Republic

When I open Tech Republic pages e.g. http://ct.techrepublic.com/clicks?t=1762127796-ed2a7c01286dd827ffdf042d36a2330b-bf&brand=TECHREPUBLIC&s=5 my browser starts using 50% of my cpu and huge amounts of memory and the user experience is terrible. Tried both Chrome and Firefox. Pages from other sites do not cause this behaviour.

Is anyone else experiencing this behaviour in Techrepublic web pages?
