Problem With wireless router

Hello guys,
I’ve just bought a Asus Wl 520g wireless router and I plan to use it with my internet connection.
My laptop gets connected wirelesly and is connected to internet,but the problem is that sites like Youtube do not stream.Maybe some problem with protocol handling,but I can’t figure out a way to rectify it.
I ve updated the router with the latest firmware.
