Problems accessing Internet Mail via IE

I am having trouble accessing internet based e-mail programs through IE 5.5 and 6.0. When I access AOL.com or Yahoo.com mail programs, I can read e-mail but not reply or download items. The server is SBS 2000 with ISA. I tried disabling ISA at the client and then at the server, but the problem still exists.
