Problems downloading Ubuntu Ultimate

I’ve made several attempts to download Ubuntu Ultimate Edition 1.4 the DVD iso file, both as a torrent and straight from a European mirror(i’m based in the UK). When I attempt to download it from a mirror using Download Accelerator Plus it gets to just over 400Mb and stops, when I use BitLord it doens’t even begin to download. I have Scotty WinPatrol, ZoneAlarm and AVG running and have attempted to adjust the settings on ZA, but that doesn’t seem to have helped. Can anyone offer any suggestions please?
