Problems faced after server 2003 updated to servicepack2

we have a server 2003 enterprise edtn updated to service pack2.
this server acts a domain controller,fileserver and we added some windows xp …to this domain.

the problem we faced was after uppdating with service pack2 we r not able to add some more xp machinesto the domain.also not able to share the files from server…

we tried the hotfix in microsoft support also…but still the problem remains..
we get error 1030 and 1058 in application log…

we need some more help……
