I’m working for an Organization running Win2003 servers and Win XP Pro workstations using a domain. I have a need to print from a 3rd party web application to a local pc that converts the print job to a PDF file. I have tried numerous conversion utiltities and have not been successfull with any of them. Currently I have a shared REDMON redirector loaded that sends the print job through GhostScript. Everything works fine if I print locally but when sending the job from the web app, the print job hangs in the REDMON queue. The web app does not allow access to the local printer and prints through a print server queue. The print job has a generic user as the owner. REDMON creates spooler files but then just hangs up. I’ve tried giving open permissions to the generic user and to Everyone with no better results. I know some of this info is pretty generic. I will get more specific if I can. Thanks
