I have a NAM-2 installed in a 6500 series chassis switch. I was able to set up spans to start collecting data on our LAN.
Problem #1, When I select more than 4 VLAN interfaces to monitor from the span the web display takes 20 – 30 seconds to refresh. I’ve checked DNS, and disabled name-IP resolution as cisco recommends with no change in refresh time.
Most of our WAN offices are on MPLS, but we have 10 – 15 offices on cable modem or DSL. I can not get the NAM to see any netflow traffic from the Cable/DSL sites. I’ve verified that the netflow packets are being sent out from routers at those sites, I’m just not receiving anything on the other end.
Any ideas would be a huge help, I’ve been scouring the internet for NAM related articles for the last few days with no luck.
