Problems with log-ins for multiple users in windows XP

Hi,

I am co-op student.
I have come across user account question.

work enviornment is windows server 2003 on host workstation.
And on client side, there are 2 users on the same workstation.

When one user log in & log out and
if 2nd user try to log in, user 2 overlaps with user 1 account and it gives an error message that “The system could not log in”

So every time, I have to reset the account on windows server and client side terminal.
Then only user is able to log in.

What is the problem and how to fix it.
