Problems with Microsoft Mailbox Manager

We have been attempting to use Mailbox Manager to automatically clean out users mailboxes, but without much success. The service usually starts and stops immediately, without processing any mailboxes. We obtained the latest Mailbox Manager files from Microsoft and installed the latest service pack, still with no success. Has anyone encountered this problem before? If so, how did you solve it?
