Problems with Windows Server 2003 domain controller (it will take 4 to 5 minutes to show log in window)
——————————————–
I have a Windows 2003 server (not SBS) acting as Domain controller and 15 win XP machines accessing it. After 1 years of working fine, but now I?ve noticed my Domain controller taking too much time (approx. 4 to 5 min) to show login Screen.
Does anyone know what’s the exact problem & why Domain controller behaving like that.
I also examined the Event Viewer but I didn?t find any critical problem except this error in DNS Server section.
?The DNS server has encountered a critical error from the Active Directory. Check that the Active Directory is functioning properly?

Service Running on DC
