Proxy authentication problem

Hello
we are using Symantec web security as proxy server.
some clients are facing problem in authenticating. We user enter their user id and password. It gives invalid user id or passowrd.
but both user id and password are correct. these user id and password is working on other pcs.
PC’s are having windows xp sp2.
please suggest any solution to resolve this problem.
