proxy problem

Hi
I have a satellite receiver that needs to be connected to the internt and i have configured my desktop (which contains two lans) for internet sharing. the problem is that the inernet in my university uses proxy server and i need to enter it in my desktop (which i did) and in my receiver (which i can’t since there is no option in the receiver). So is there a way to make configure the desktop to overcome this problem?
