PS2 Mouse Not Detected

After using Norton’s Ghost program to make a backup of a computer lab PC and copying the image to the rest in the lab, the ones using PS2 mice are not recognizing the mouse. (The one we got the image from used a serial mouse). We’ve tried various drivers. How can we get the PS2 mice to work?
