Pure IP on NetWare eDirectory

We have NetWare v5.1/SP3a Servers with NDS eDirectory v85.27c, using both IP and IPX protocols.
We need to change to a Pure IP environment. If we remove IPX protocols from all the Netware Servers, will this affect my NDS eDirectory function?
Example: Patition sync. and LDAP funtion.
