Question about Win 98 Defrag on an HP…

Hello All,

I’m new to technical support and I had a question that hopefully some of you more senior support gurus can help me with. I’m simply trying to defrag a hard drive on an HP Pavilion on a Win 98 platform. However, when I try to use the defrag utility, I keep getting a “System has changed, starting over” message after the defrag is about 5% complete. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
