Quick Launch theft

Hi , I am getting some weird problem with Win XP professional SP2, I lost my quick launch, tried to
recover it through task bar properties but it wont come up. I don’t know wat happens to quick lauch, it was working properly till today. I also checked it with Antiivrus, is it some adware or malware problem??
