I have a few servers that I?m working on, the only problem is that the people that were here before for me configured the RAID arrays on the servers wrong, I have HP ProLiant DL380 G3 server, with RAID 5 and RAID 1.
I have 2 servers that are clustered together, that are running RAID 1, I want to break that RAID and remove the one of the hard drives.
The other server is running RAID 5, I want to remove the larger hard drive and replace it with hard drive the same size as the other ones.
The last server is also running RAID 5, but it has 4 – 36 GB hard drive and 1 72 GB hard drives I would like to remove 1 36 GB hard drive and the 72 GB.
So basically I want to break apart RAID 1 and reconfigure my RAID 5, I?m not sure if I can do that, thanks for your help. 🙂
