ras connection

i want to setupa ras conection using cable modem,i want staff to connect to work server to work on their folders or check emails.
is it possible to connect to server which has cable modem running 24 hrs a day?
the staff will use their loptops dial up through normal telephone lines to connect to the
server. how do i do it? please help!
