Hello,
I’m experiencing some freeze up screens in my users’ RDP sessions, very randomly during the day.
I first thought that the server’s RAID1 disks were the problem as they were critically fragmented. After installing Diskeeper and having now healthy HDDs we still are experiencing the same freezes.
If I leave a ping command pinging to the internet or the server I don’t see any packet loss or anything, also the CPU use and RAM are far to be full.
Any ideas what else could be causing this?
One thing I found is when Outlook is receiving an email my own RDP session freezes for a bit, and this happens to the users who have Outlook in the server (not all of them, some use webmail) but still, we experience very similar freeze ups in all the sessions at the same time from time to time.
I’m leaning on a possible conflict with a certain patch or program, but how to isolate that in a Production Server?
Please help!
Thanks,
Alfredo
