Hi there,

I haven’t used Linux that much, so some of these questions might be kind of dum_.
I am using Slackware 7.0. I have Apache installed and X-windows working. But there are a few things that I would like to know before I do any more.

#1 When I log into the the Linux pc, a message comes up You have mail. Where is this mail? and how do I read it?

#2 On the startup of the pc, where are the files called form to start say samba / webmin / apache etc…… Kind of like a Autoexec for dos?

Thanks for your help, I will be back with more dum_ questions in the future

JT
