Recovering data from a Zip disk

My internal Zip drive has started to; at times; make the annoying click, which is known to spell death to data held on some Zip disks.

Is there any way where I can recover data from the Zip disk that has been affected by the “click of death”. What I mainly want to do is copy the data (which is mainly digital images) over to a new disk.
