Recovering files (swf)

Hello. I have a hdd that was connected to my tv so it could record some programmes. Unfortunately it stopped working, because the partition get damaged. I quick formatted the drive so i could restore files from the disk. Everything went good but when i try to open any of those files it shows errors that the file is crushed. I was wondering wheter there is a software that can repair my files (.swf)
