Recovery Console

So my dad was trying to use the recovery console feature from our Windows XP disc but instead of showing the screen below it went to what I’m assuming to be the whole Windows OS install

Is there any way at all to get it to go back to operating as normal or to close out of said setup? We hadn’t actually run it as my dad hit the R key to run the recovery console from the CD
