Redirect Exchange 2000 mailbox to an user

After a serious DNS issue, my exchange 2000 server had all of the mailboxes disconneted from the users; after fixing my DNS issue I ran the MBConn and got most mailboxes linked to every user, but this one mail box got linked to something “not the right user”.
Unfortunately the user can’t open the mailbox and every email to that user comes back as “Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients”
Is there an easy fix to this?
