Registry Error

I get this error on startup:

“Windows encountered an error inthe system registry. Please close your programs and restart Windows now.

You may lose some of the information from the current session. Restarting will allow the registry to reinitialize.
RESTART WINDOWS ”
No matter how many times I restart, I get this error on startup.

Also, a dialup program gives this error:
“Run-time error 429
