Relocating network

We are relocating and the building where we go has already network wiring but they are running Ethernet and we have Token Ring. Funny I never thought about these before, but can I, by any chance use the existing wiring instead of doing it from zero ? (The wires looks the same, the plugs are the same so I’m wondering!)
