remote access and monitoring security systems

I have a Samsung security system w/4 cat 5 cable cameras and dvr, I want to be able to access a web address to monitor the activity at my domain and also be alerted by email and cellphone with a snap shot in case of an event. I contacted other companies but everyone is trying to sell me their systems. I know that the hardwear is an I/O card, but can not locate the correct softwear. I’m planning on useing a second computer as a server which will be located in a secure part of the house. I have 2wire wireless modem with 4 access ports. Any help or suggestion would be a plus, thank you, Ron.
