Remote access to registry Win98->Win2

When I try to access to a registy of a PC running Windows 2000 Advanced Server from a PC running Windows 98, I get a message that remote registry service must be ran on both computers.
Remote Regisry Service is installed and automatically launched on Windows 2000 Advanced Server PC. What should I do with a PC running Windows 98 to get remote access to another machine’s regisry. Is there any Remote Registry Service for Windows 98, or I shoul do something else?
