I have a ~26″ TV about to go. And I want to replace it with a 24″ widescreen ASUS monitor. (I already have the monitor, and want to save a few $$). The Monitor has a HDMI input – so the input from the Satellite receiver is set. But I need a way to wirelessly control the sound volume. I was thinking of connecting external speakers. (There are connections for external speakers. But the speakers need to have a wireless volume control.) The monitor has internal speakers – but no way to control the sound, since no computer would be hooked up. Reasonable sound is fine. I am not an audiophile. But everyone is aware how sound volume varies from station to station, and differs during commercials – Since I’ll be sitting across the room – I only need a means to control the volume wirelessly.
Any suggestions?
