remote email archiving

hi 🙂

ive setup archiving in our company so that mailboxes only contain 1 days worth of emails, and everything older gets archived, to our email archive server.

we have a lot of project managers though that dont come into the office. Is it possible to remotely setup their outlook to archive daily like in the office? The currently connect in via a vpn portal i setup and use outlook though that.

if not then all i can do is monitor their mailbox sizes and archive when necessary?

im also going to implement a max mailbox size to stop people moving stuff over from the archive to their other folders..

you would be surprised how effiently exchange runs now theres no more 4gb mailboxes left!
