Remote Office Network Design

by kevsumm . Updated 24 years, 3 months ago

I wish to design a remote office network that will attach to my corporate network. The preferred method (option #1) is to place a server (or device) at the site that will dial the Internet via POTS, ISDN or broadband and tunnel into our Nortel VPN switch. This device would then share the connection with my remote clients. NAT does not work. Option #2 is a direct-dial (point to point) solution I suppose, like a pair of Lucent SuperPipes or Windows RRAS. This is a short-term solution. Any ideas??
