Remote Office Sites in WSUS 3.0 Setup

I am located in a main office downtown in City A with a WSUS 3.0 box and I also have a remote site uptown in City A. I wanted the clients to talk to my WSUS 3.0 in my downtown office. I which I know how to setup. It it wise to have remote sites in the same city or even other eastern states to connect to my WSUS 3.0 box. So I do not have to setup child WSUS Servers.
