Remote PC Access

Our main office, using Windows 95 peer-to-peer networking, has DSL internet service, with a remote office having access through a 56K modem. Is it possible for the remote office to gain access to the PC’s in the main office? In particular, it would be desireable for it to be able to acces an Acess 97 database. If it cannot be done though DSL, how would one go about doing this?
