After hours of searching for a free, no installation, no configuration support tool I’ve just come across http://www.showmypc.com/ Up and running in minutes, no installation for the client or service provider, no cost, no nasty configuration. I easily setup a webpage to host the exe so my clients can download it. Works like a dream, a bit choppy compared to other commercially available products but usable.
I’ve also used ultravnc http://www.uvnc.com/ which is good but takes a bit of setting up, requires hosting on a server with a fixed IP and can be temperamental, the reason I started looking for a new tool was because I lost control of the mouse and keyboard and can’t seem to get in back at all with any client?!
Anyone else have any comments on remote support tools?
