remove ftp tags set by leechers?

I had several ftp sites that were using anonymous access until I found people were trading divx through them.

I found several folders that when I try to delete I get the error: “Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk”

Howdo I delete the folders? The folders I would like to delete and are in .tmp directory.
