Removing password protected Outlook Express Identities

Anybody got any solutions/advise on removing Outlook Express identities without knowing the password? The PC is a Compaq running XP. I’ve searched the Internet but not much luck. Don’t want to buy the suggested programs. There’s got to be a way around it…
