Rename a CD Drive

I want to know if there is a way to rename a CD Drive in Windows XP. Not a disk, but the drive itself. My CDRW drive shows up as “CD Drive (R:)” in windows explorer. I always set my CDRW drives to R: to help me distiguish that it is my recordable drive. I just wish I could rename it from “CD Drive” to something more descriptive. Something as simple as “CDRW” would be fine with me. I already searched my registry for both “CD Drive” and “CD Drive (R:)”. Found nothing. I also tried the command line command “label”. No dice. Anyone else do this?
