replacing a document using active directory

Hi all,
I need to replace a document that contains the settings for a program called TypeQuik. This needs to be replaced because the original settings no longer work. I would like to be able to do this via active directory or group policy and as such require help in writing a script to perform this file replacement. any ideas as to how to go about this would be appreciated. Am running a domain environment using Windows Server 2003 (various editions) and windows xp sp2. The active directory computer is running windows server 2003 enterprise edition sp2.
