Replacing Windows 2000 Server DC with Server 2003

Hello,

I have an upcoming project to switch our Active Directory Users from Windows 2000 server Domain Controller to Server 2003 Domain controller. We are not upgrading the server but we are actually using a different machine to install Server 2003. What is the best way of tackling this project?
